Get ready to cut, stick, layer and create! In this fun-filled six-week module, we'll explore the exciting world of collage, taking inspiration from Cubist artists and the surreal masterpieces of Salvador Dalí.
We'll experiment with photographic collage, play with scale and proportion in portraiture, using glossy magazine images and create imaginative surreal landscapes full of unexpected surprises.
Towards the end of the unit your mini artist will combine all the techniques we've learned to create a "Crazy Collage: All About Me" on canvas. We'll finish our artwork using vibrant Posca paint pens to add colour, pattern and bold details.
By the end of the course, you'll have a unique mixed-media canvas bursting with creativity and personality—ready to take home and proudly display on your wall!

This nurturing and skills-focused club is designed to encourage imagination, build self-confidence and allow children to express themselves freely through art.
Led by professional artist and fully trained primary school teacher Shelley Perry, sessions are welcoming, supportive and suitable for all abilities, whether your child already loves art or is just beginning their creative journey.

This is a block of themed lessons, delivered weekly, during school term-time . All materials and instructions are provided—children only need their enthusiasm and imagination! Each unit will come with a sketchbook which we will work in every week so that all of our ideas, technique testers and experiments are stored safely. At the end of every session we have a Gallery Exhibition where we welcome parents and carers in to share what we have created! At the end of the unit, the sketchbooks can be taken home to cherish for ever.
