Ocean Themed Clay Unit (ages 5-11 years) Fri 3:45 - 4:45pm
Dive into a wonderful underwater world of creativity in this exciting new clay unit for young artists!
Over six fun-filled weeks, children will explore a range of clay techniques while learning how to sculpt ocean-inspired creations including sea creatures, fish, coral, shells, underwater plants and more. Each week will focus on a different theme and skill, helping children build confidence and develop their artistic abilities step by step.
Mini artists will create a beautiful clay tile each session, which will be carefully painted and decorated before being mounted together into a special framed artwork to take home at the end of the unit.
Alongside clay work, children will also enjoy:
Sketching and planning their ideas
Learning colour mixing and painting techniques
Exploring texture, shape and pattern
Developing creativity in a calm, pressure-free environment
This nurturing and skills-focused club is designed to encourage imagination, build self-confidence and allow children to express themselves freely through art.
Led by professional artist and fully trained primary school teacher Shelley Perry, sessions are welcoming, supportive and suitable for all abilities, whether your child already loves art or is just beginning their creative journey.
✨ FREE Trial Week Available!
If your mini artist would like to try a session before committing to the full unit, get in touch to book a free trial. (send me an email to enquire: shelleyperry@mail.com)
