This painting depicts the view looking out towards the Isle of Wight, with Hengistbury Head on the left. It is part of a current experimental series of work which explores playful, neon spray painted highlights and bold acrylic ink dribbles. It was created from a photograph taken minutes after a heavy rain storm had blown over, to reveal the beautiful blue sky.
